About Us
Sun Bay Builders, Inc. was formed in 1987 by Michael Miano in St. Petersburg, Florida. At that time, Michael was designated the sole Director and President of the Corporation. His wife, Susan, was designated the Secretary of the Corporation. Since its inception, Sun Bay Builders has concentrated on remodeling, room additions, whole house renovations and building new custom homes. Our primary territory is Pinellas County.
Prior to starting Sun Bay Builders, Inc., Michael Miano entered into the construction business as part owner of another company from 1979-1986. This company concentrated on two and three story custom homes and each was uniquely different than the next.
Michael holds a Florida Registered Contractors License and is on the Board of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, otherwise known as NARI. He was selected by the chapter, "Remodeler of the Year" for 1998. Michael also holds a Florida Real Estate Sales Associate license and has been a continued member of Cooke Real Estate since 1988.
